Virginia Secor Stranahan was known for her interest & getting involved in many of the events taking place at The 577 Foundation. Her age did not slow her down! A gift of a golf cart made it possible for her to continue to be involved & see others enjoying themselves! Many people have a wonderful memory of a personal tour in the golf cart with Virginia.
FIBER577 FIBER ART SHOW FIBER577 is an annual two-day art exhibit that highlights fine art from a wide variety of contemporary fiber artists. This year, a number of regional artists working in the fiber field have been invited to participate in FIBER577. Their work will be displayed in the beautiful and stately residential setting of The 577 Foundation House. The exhibition will be enhanced by the inclusion of invitational Artists-in-Residence and hands-on expert demonstrators. Live music will also be provided. Free and open to the public.

The other 50% goes to the organization to use in carrying out their local missions. Groups are permitted one book fair weekend during which they receive 100% of the donations. American Cancer Society Bark For Life will be using their funds to assist cancer patients in Wood County.
